A new promotion is offering Velocity members a chance to earn up to 5,000 bonus Velocity points. To qualify, members need to fly twice with Virgin Australia by 11 December 2022. The booking must be made by 21 September 2022, you then have up to 3 months to complete the travel.

Eligible Velocity members will earn 2,500 bonus points per flight up to a maximum of 2 flights (5,000 points). This can be in the form of 2 one-way or 1 return flight.

Here are the rest of the terms and conditions;

• To be eligible for the 2,500 Bonus Points promotion you must (1) Activate this offer through the activation link; (2) book an Eligible Flight between 12.01am 12 September 2022 and 11.59pm 21 September 2022 inclusive (Promotion Period); (3) enter a valid Velocity membership number at the time of booking and ticketing and (4) travel by 11 December 2022.
• An Eligible Flight is a flight marketed and operated by Virgin Australia (excludes charter flights), or a flight operated by Alliance Airlines or Link Airways on behalf of Virgin Australia (i.e. a flight with a “VA” flight number), which are flights on which Points can be earned and booked and ticketed in a fare class that normally accrues Points. Points cannot be earned on Velocity Reward Seat bookings. Codeshare services marketed or operated by partner airlines are not eligible for this offer.
• Bonus Points are earned at a flat rate of 2,500 per one way journey. A flight booking with a connection would be considered a one-way journey and 2,500 Bonus Points would be allocated for this flight. Bonus Points are earned in addition to the standard Points earn for a flight.
• This Velocity Points offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Velocity offer or promotion.
• You should allow up to 4 weeks after the travel period for the bonus Velocity Points to be allocated.

In Conclusion

I value Velocity points at a minimum 1.5c per point which makes this offer worth at least $75. Sadly, I am excluded 😭
